Meal prepping really doesn't have to be miserable!!

Meal prepping usually means spending your weekend planning to cook, and taking a full day out to cook and box all your meals.

Sounds exhausting, right?

It is.

A client of mine was meal prepping each weekend and spending 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday, so she could have healthy meals for the week.

Unsurprisingly, she hates giving up her weekend to the process...

Not only was she tired, but she HATED it.

I do not want you to meal prep!

In the traditional sense, that is.

Self-Help Junkie

Who else is a Self-Help junkie?

I have been hooked since I was young. I was watching an Oprah show after school and it was centered around the topic and I just knew I wanted more.

The idea of "improving myself" like you would make updates to your home (weird analogy? ) was so fascinating to me.

I don't know when I bought my first self-help book was, but I now have a collection of them by my bed.

But for me, self-help isn't limited to that book collection. It shows up all over my life- like my obsessive journaling and my endless quest to be the healthiest I can be.

Protein Packed Chia Pudding Recipe

This is a fantastic recipe when you are prepping for the week!

Protein Packed Chia Pudding:
Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:
1 cup milled flax and chia mixed
1.5 cup water (or milk of choice)
4 T cottage cheese
4 T collagen powder
Handful: Berries of choice, nuts of choice
4 T honey

Directions:
Mix the chia and flax with water, cottage cheese, and collagen. Stir well and divvy out into four separate containers.
Top evenly with berries, nuts and honey.
Prep and pop in the fridge for easy breakfasts and snacks throughout the week.

Berries are in season!

Berries are finally coming back in season as the weather warms (even though it doesn’t feel like it’s quite hit us yet‍). Either way, they are tasting amazing and I’ve been adding them by the nutrient dense handful to my smoothies!
