Want to loose weight, gain energy AND make your life easier?

"I know how to cook, I just don't want to meal prep"

I hear this ALL THE TIME and I get it!! Meal prep does not sound fun, especially if you're already cooking!

But here is the difference...

Meal Prepping my way means you are getting all of your cooking done (40+ meals) in just 3 hours one day a week.

You are NOT cooking every single night
You are NOT making multiple grocery store trips each week
You are NOT cleaning up the kitchen every night
You are NOT throwing out uneaten food
You ARE using my proven system to plan, execute and get back to your life with the ease and freedom of a fridge full of healthy, ready to eat meals.

THAT is what meal prepping is all about.

It's fast, efficient, and will give you your life back!

Take it from Cecily, who cooked every night and hated meal prepping:

"Meal prepping never worked for me in the past. But I was cooking two to three times per day, spending over 9 hours a week doing it. Since taking The Meal Prep Course I am saving 6+ hours a week and have the...

Change can be scary, it can be hard.

Change can be scary, it can be hard.

Losing the weight or starting a new diet can feel like you are losing yourself and your identity.

You are brave for making a change, it is not easy!!

The faster you can believe in yourself to be that new person, the less painful that change will be.

Let’s get clear together on whom the new you is…..

What do you think and feel as a thinner, healthier you?

I would love to be a part of your journey and help you become the new you!! Join The Meal Prep Course and let’s do this together!  Sign up HERE!

The only support you need is your own!

A client reached out to me the other day.

She said, “my family just does not support my new way of eating. Making this shift is so hard sometimes I don’t know why I am doing it.”

I told her the only support she really needs is her own!

The people in your life probably won't support you making a change at first.

They only know the old you, not the new you!

But you know the new you, you believe in that person and your ability to become that person... And that is what’s really important.

I asked her “what else can you feel in those moments when you see your family not support your new diet?"

How about pride in yourself for making the change that most will never dare to do?

What about self-love because you are doing something awesome for yourself?

What about gratitude for your family that loves you?

Those are all feelings to try on when you are feeling the challenge, when you are feeling down.

You can do this!

I am so proud of you for just getting started.

I...

When was the last time you paused and took a look at how far you have come?

STOP FOR A SECOND.

When was the last time you paused and took a look at how far you have come?

How much you have grown since last year, how much weight you have lost, how many dietary changes you've made, how much more mature you are than yesterday ().

This plate pictured here is the sign I made for the original Basically It Meals before it was Basically It Meals.

4 years ago, it was called "The $6 Lunch". I would bulk batch my own meal prep and then take it to work each week and sell it to my coworkers. I hung this plate up at my cubicle to let them know when I had a batch to sell.

That is how far I've come.....from $6 lunch offered to coworkers, to full time business owner, to online course purveyor, to producer and TV personality.

We are all capable of INCREDIBLE CHANGE but so often we are stuck in "I haven't done enough", "I am not enough", "I will never get there".

So, stop for just one second today and give yourself a pat on the back for all the BAD ASS work you have put in!

I am so...

The $1,000 course going for $47

The $1,000 course going for $47

I developed The Meal Prep Course with the thought in mind that if someone were to ask me to teach them these things in person, I would charge at least $1,000.

$1,000 because the result my client would walk away with would give them that back over and over each year for the rest of their life.

Because this info is so valuable, I wanted to make it easily accessible to all, I put it in a course. And I still thought “the value of this go at your own pace course is easily worth $1,000”.

When you take what's in The Meal Prep Course and implement it in your life, you can save thousands of dollars a year on wasted food.

  • You can give yourself 2 weeks worth of time back
  • You can spend your lunch breaks relaxing instead of stressed
  • You can have evenings in the backyard with your kids instead of
working in the kitchen while everyone else has fun
  • You can have health for life.
  • You can decide you want to make a major dietary change and then DO IT! And...

What is the Meal Prep Course?

I've been getting a lot of questions about The Meal Prep Course, so here are some FAQ's for you:).

When is The Meal Prep Course scheduled for?

The Meal Prep Course can be accessed at any time! There is no ""live schedule"".

The videos inside are re-watchable, and the documents are all printable so you can hang them on the fridge or take them to the store with you.

When you sign up, you have lifetime access to the course, so you can always come back to it!

I have dietary restrictions, can I still take The Meal Prep Course?

The Meal Prep Course does not teach a specific diet, it is instead a process of planning so that you can get your home cooking done even faster and stress free.

In fact, if you are following a specific diet, the course will assist you in sticking with it and picking your specific foods and recipes! It is fantastic for anyone looking to make a healthy change, or stick with keto, paleo, vegan, or auto-immune diets.

I have picky eaters at home, will The Meal Prep...

Self Reflection and Self Improvement During Quarantine

One of the best things about quarantine (in my humble opinion) is the time for self reflection and self-improvement!

I've been taking more time to read, get creative and figure out how to slow down. The book Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff, PhD, has been fantastic!!

Something I have working on during the forced slow down is being nice to myself . It's helping me enjoy my days more, not beat myself up for dietary "slip ups" (while still losing weight), and helping my business grow!

What has the best thing about quarantine been for you?

How to beat stress

Get creative in the kitchen to beat stress! This has been helping me so much.

Not to mention all the benefits to:
your immune system
your health
mental health
family bonding

I recently used the pulp of my turmeric-ginger-Apple juice to marinate shrimp and it was outstanding, and so good for the bod

Give yourself permission to get creative in the kitchen! Don't worry about the outcome, just have fun and let your inner chef shine. Who knows what delicious dish will be born from pure creativity!

What I Eat in a Day

These "what I ate in a day" are a lot of fun (for me ). This was a typical day for me:

I started with a green smoothie; this one was zucchini, spinach, flax, avocado, spirulina, and collagen.

For lunch, I mixed half a can of tuna with whole grain mustard and Trader Joes everything but the bagel seasoning. I used sliced zucchini like chips and dipped it into the tuna salad alongside some hummus.

Ever since I brought the cheese cracker recipe on Show Me St.Louis I have been eating them non-stop. So good! I snacked on those in the afternoon. They are perfect when you want something salty and crunchy, but don't want all the carbs.

For dinner, I had sliced romaine, the other half of the can of tuna mixed the same as at lunch with steamed broccoli (topped with parmesan cheese ).

This is my favorite way to eat; tons of green veggies balanced with protein and a little cheese
